History

The vision for JobSite Resources began in the mid 1980's when founder Mark Hall was a supervisor on job sites in the mid-west. While supervising these jobs, it became very clear that tool loss and tool mismanagement were considered just part of doing business.

The tooling, consumables and equipment were simply a necessary evil to get the job done. Nobody wanted the responsibility to oversee tooling.

During this time, tool counting and tracking was done by hand or on simplified spread sheets if done at all. Obviously, there could be a better way.

As times changed and computer tracking became available for job sites, many companies tried these systems only to be disappointed by the complexities or the limitations. The problem with these systems began with the designers. They were simply designed by people who never worked on a job site and do not have the necessary firsthand knowledge.
