JSRScan

JSRScan is an industrial grade, wireless mobile computer/hand-held scanner designed to deliver inventory visibility and traceability in the most challenging environments.  

We understand that one technology does not fit all.  With that said, JSRScan is unique. It supports both passive RFID and barcodes. JSRScan communicates directly with Cribmaster inventory management software to provide a comprehensive solution.

RENTAL COMPANIES / TOOL ROOM PERSONNEL
To efficiently and accurately manage inventory transactions, JSRScan provides a simple, automated process to issue and return tools, equipment, and consumables by leveraging RFID and barcode tags.  JSRScan electronically records and tracks the issued items, significantly increasing traceability and accountability. 

SECURITY
Visibility outside the controlled environment is a must to effectively track and maintain inventory.  In an effort to prevent the removal of company property from the premises, JSRScan detects and alerts security personnel to the presence of RFID tagged tools in vehicles, tool boxes, trailers and storage containers.  To conduct an inspection, security performs a thorough sweep with the JSRScan.  If an RFID tagged tool is detected, the JSRScan will provide an audible notification and a description of the tool is displayed on the screen.  Security then has the ability to locate and retrieve the tool that was identified.
